Based in Houston, Texas, Boomerang Industrial is a pure-play developer of cold storage warehouses and logistics facilities. Boomerang employs a “boots-on-the-ground” approach to project development, leading and/or managing every phase of the development process, including site selection, building design, land use and entitlement, incentive negotiation, construction planning and management, asset management, leasing and sales and any ancillary task required during the project lifecycle.

Boomerang Industrial’s founding partners, Beau Bellow and Andy Cyrus, have over 45 years of combined experience in real estate, finance, and law. Their complimentary skill sets, comprehensive professional backgrounds, personal and professional relationships, and intimate involvement in project management uniquely distinguish Boomerang as a best-in-class developer and manager of cold storage assets.

Founding Partners

  • A founding partner of Boomerang, Beau has spent his entire career in real estate, amassing extensive knowledge and experience in brokerage and real estate private equity.  At Boomerang, he is actively involved in every aspect of the development process from entitlement through project completion and disposition.  

    At JLL, Beau handled over $1 billion in transactions, including HQ relocations, build-to-suits, office dispositions, lease renewals/restructures, and new leases. He worked with clients such as ExxonMobil, Amazon, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and United Airlines. Before JLL, Beau was VP at The Lionstone Group, focusing on national acquisitions for a $1.5 billion fund. He started his career as a financial analyst and broker at The Staubach Company.

  • A founding partner of Boomerang, Andy has acquired extensive deal-making experience and a unique skill set through careers in law, investment banking, and private equity. At Boomerang, he is actively involved in all aspects of the development process from entitlement through project completion and disposition.  

    In 2013, Andy co-founded KAC Holdings, a Houston-based private investment firm that invests across various asset classes and industries such as energy, finance and insurance, healthcare, infrastructure, real estate, and venture capital. Before this, he was an associate in the natural resources investment banking group at Barclays Capital. Andy began his career in 2007 at Andrews Kurth in the corporate/securities group.

Our Team

  • Michelle Lofton joined Boomerang in 2023 with 30+ years of financial, accounting, and advisory experience.

    Before Boomerang, she was the assistant controller at a Houston CPA firm, providing financial consulting/accounting services for high-net-worth clients. Michelle began her career as the co-owner of a printing and telecommunications company, focusing on business management and accounting. Michelle has also served as an accounting manager for a Houston-based property tax assessor, managing public funds for Water, Management, and Improvement districts. In 2019, Michelle became an assistant controller at a private family office.

    Michelle was born in Midland and raised in Houston. The native Texan's greatest joy is spending time with her husband of 32 years, Todd, their grown son, Michael; and their beloved poodle mix, Maddie. In her free time, Michelle enjoys painting, fishing, photography, and reading. Michelle is also a graphic arts and interior design dilettante.
